This quick and easy recipe can be so versatile. Change up the cheese, meats or vegetables. This makes a great breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner meal. For a party you can cut this bake into small bite size pieces for a new appetizer. So easy this is a must have recipe for those moments of what’s for dinner and little time to get dinner done.
Easy Anytime Bake:
2 cups baking mix
1/2 cup cold water
1 lb bacon diced and cooked crisp or any other meat
(You can also do vegetables lightly sautéed first)
8 oz sliced cheese
1/2 cup milk
Dash of salt
Mix baking mix and cold water until dough is formed beat well then knead on a floured surface 10 times. Press into a sprayed 9×13 baking dish, pushing up 1/2 inch on the sides. Top with sliced cheese, the meat and/or vegetables. Mix eggs, milk and salt. Pour over mixture and bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees.
