By Amanda Stravinsky

Tennessee is well represented with seven events featured on the newly released American Bus Association’s 2015 Top 100 Events list.

Tennessee events highlighted include the 2015 Tennessee Civil War Sesquicentennial Commemoration Blue & Gray Reunion & Jubilee in Knoxville, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion in Bristol TN/VA, National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg, Rivers & Spires Festival in Clarksville, “A Country Christmas” at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, CMA Music Festival in Nashville and Pigeon Forge’s Winterfest in Pigeon Forge.

Hundreds of celebrations, fairs, festivals and commemorative events are submitted and winners are determined by American Bus Association motor coach and tour operator members. The list, launched in 1982, serves to help travel operators plan itineraries for clients to the U.S. and Canada.

The Top 100 Events receive worldwide attention such as on CNN news and in USA Today. More than 10,000 copies of the Top 100 Events in North America magazine is distributed to thousands of planners worldwide.
