ORION STARRY NIGHTS SHINES LIGHT ON ICONIC PARTS OF MEMPHIS
More than 2 million LEDs will illuminate Shelby Farms Park from November 21 – December 28, and this year, they will adorn14 new displays. In addition to the return of some annual favorites, this year’s show shines a light on some of the most iconic parts of Memphis, including Beale Street, Graceland, Sun Studios, the Memphis Grizzlies, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Overton Park, the Memphis Zoo, St. Jude, The Orpheum and the University of Memphis.
At the heart of Starry Nights is magical Mistletoe Village. Each night, the Woodland Discovery Playground will be transformed into a winter wonderland where visitors can take photos with Santa, ride camels, take a stroll inside the Candy Cane Tunnel, do some holiday shopping, roast s’mores around cozy fire pits and more.
While this year’s show will not feature any Run, Walk, Ride Nights (it will be drive-through only), there are still plenty of special ways to experience the lights of Starry Nights. Horse-drawn Starry Carriages offer an enchanting ride through the lights, and kids will love seeing the show on a Starry Hayride.
