Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, you’re warmly welcomed to join the jolly fun at the 4th Annual Santa Hustle Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk set for Sunday, December 14, 2014. This event is produced by Adrenaline Sports Management.
Each participant will receive a Santa hat and beard, along with a newly designed Santa sweatshirt to show off their holiday spirit during the race. Throughout the course-which starts and ends at the resort and runs through the streets of Sevierville [as well as Pigeon Forge for the half marathon] holiday cheer will abound with seasonal music, candy and cookie stations, signs and other holiday goodies.
Custom Santa Hustle medals will be awarded to the top three finishers for women and men in both races, and each person who completes the half marathon will receive a finisher’s medal. The best individual and group costume prizes also will be awarded – all prizes will be given out at the After Party event at the resort.
Since the holiday season is the perfect time to give back, proceeds from The Santa Hustle will benefit Keep Sevier Beautiful, whose goal is to eliminate litter and promote improvement of the community environment. Unwrapped toys also can be brought to the event for the Toys for Tots program.
“The holidays are a time for giving; we’re proud to incorporate that spirit into the event by benefitting Keep Sevier Beautiful, and promoting Toys for Tots,” said Aaron Del Mar, founder/owner of Adrenaline Sports Management.
Santas can register today at www.santahustle.com. Now through November 29, 5K registration is $45 per person and $60 for the half marathon. Between November 30 and December 12, the cost to register for the 5K will be $50 per person and $65 for the half marathon.
