SEVIERVILLE (press release)—Angela Ross claimed the September Sevierville Chamber Friendship Award after racking up the most points for attending chamber networking events and encouraging new membership. Ross is Area Market Representative for Lumberjack Feud.
“Being a member of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce is a great way to network with other businesses in our area,” says Ross. “The SCOC does a wonderful job promoting and recognizing their members.”
As a thank you for her dedication, Ross received a $100 gift card from Hillside Winery as well as a plaque courtesy of Sign Master.
“Angela fully utilizes her membership opportunities within the Sevierville Chamber,” says membership coordinator Jim McGill. “She visits friends and learns about the latest happenings in the local business community.”
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards are based on points accumulated monthly from attending Chamber functions and volunteering as well as bringing inactive members and potential new members to Chamber events. Monthly points will go towards determining the Chamber Friend of the Year Award recipient.
The next Chamber Friendship Award will be presented during Coffee Talk on November 17, 2015, hosted by Sevier County Economic Development Council. Coffee Talk begins at 8 a.m. at the Sevierville Civic Center. Guests are welcome to attend and learn more about the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.
