Perhaps the best value in Pigeon Forge is the Pigeon Forge Community Center. The center offers a plethora of activities that will appeal to visitors of all ages, from kids enjoying summer break to seniors seeking activities.
The Community Center is appropriately located on Community Center Road in Pigeon Forge and conveniently located next door to the Pigeon Forge Library. Members can enjoy the Community Center then spend some leisure time at the library. The 86,000 square foot Community Center features basketball courts, jogging circuits, a walking track, aerobic rooms, a 10-lane bowling center and an Aquatic Center, which features an indoor and outdoor pool. Non-members may access the pool for as little as $2.50 person.
Numerous classes and other activities including yoga, Zumba, cardio training, sculpting, pilates and cross training are offered at the center. Some activities such as cosmic bowling require a small fee. Cosmic bowling features lights, music and fun for a nominal fee of $9.50 per person.
Families can come in on hot summer days and escape the heat in the swimming pool, on the basketball court or the bowling alley. Seniors looking for a place to walk for exercise can enjoy the indoor walking track.
Membership is as little as $25 per year for a student and $100 for a family living within the city limits of Pigeon Forge. Sevier County residents may enjoy the facility for an annual fee of $200 for a family up to four. Non-members may enjoy the facility for a small fee. Daily, weekly and monthly passes are available for purchase. Child care services are available for anyone using the facility for up to two hours per day.
Seniors will enjoy the JOY (Just Older Youth) Club. This group meets the first Friday of each month and features bowling, bingo and cards.
