Southern Draw Skin Art will host Greyson’s Rescue Ride, a bike ride to benefit local animal shelters including Pets Without Parents and Apollo Support and Rescue.

The two organizations assist in finding homes for abandoned animals. Both are not-for-profit and operate solely from donations.

The ride will be held Saturday Sept. 20 starting at the Hard Rock Café in Pigeon Forge at 10:30 a.m. Entrants will receive Tee-shirts and a continental breakfast.

The ride starts at 12 P.M. rain or shine.  The ride will proceed through Wear’s Valley and Townsend and end at the Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson in Maryville.

Attendees of this family friendly event can participate in a 50/50 drawing, five hand poker run, a live benefit auction, raffles and  giveaways.

The ride will conclude at the Barker Lounge on Chapman Highway in Sevierville at 4 p.m. with a barbecue dinner, live auction and other activities. Adoptable pets will on the premises. Greyson, a rescued dog for which the ride  was named, will be at the barbecue to meet attendees.

The entry fee for the ride is $20 per bike. All proceeds will benefit animal rescue charities. For more information visit Grayson on his Facebook page at fb.com/Greyson.asr. The event is being sponsored by the Hard Rock Café and the Barker Lounge.
