The Biblical Times Theater in Pigeon Forge has one of the smaller casts of any dinner show in town but, very talented. The theater is now presenting “The Christmas Story” as told by Simeon. The Biblical Times Theater was the innovator of holographic technology for use in theater. Jess Davis, the owner of BT, was the first to use the technology in Tennessee.

With the use of the technology, holograms flawlessly interact with the live actors leaving the audience to wonder which are real and which are holograms.

The cast includes Blaine Sumler, Rachel Barnes, Laura Hutchinson, Mary Courtney, and Chris Seiglar who perform inspiring gospel and Christmas songs that enhance the Christmas magic.

The show begins with each of the performers singing their favorite Christmas songs. A seven course dinner of “Biblical proportions” is served followed by the tale of the coming of the Christ child. Simeon relates the prophecies that foretold of the birth of the Son of God. Mary and Joseph ride into Bethlehem for the census when Christ is born and the wise men come to adore the child. The live performers, dressed in period attire, tell the story through inspiring gospel music and Christmas classics. The cast performs an inspiring rendition of “Oh Holy Night,” that is guaranteed to fill even the surliest of Scrooges with the spirit of Christmas.

The meal includes Wood Smoked Prime Rib, Tender Jumbo Chicken, Wood Smoked Pulled Pork, Garlic Fried Potatoes, Steamed Vegetable Medley, Crispy Tossed Salad, Large Buttered Yeast Roll, Strawberry Shortcake and Unlimited Tea & Lemonade.
