Two inmates escape from Sevier County Jail

Two inmates escaped from the Sevier County Jail Annex. According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals, the two inmates were discovered missing by corrections officers at approximately 11:41 p.m. Friday night. A search of the facility was initiated but the inmates were nowhere to be found.

The two inmates are identified as David L. Way, 44, of Green Forest Way in Cosby and Dustin Skaggs, 18, of Old Highway 73 in Townsend.

Both are considered dangerous and if anyone has information on their whereabouts they should contact the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office at 453-4668 or a local law enforcement agency.
