What’s new for Winterfest in Sevierville

SEVIERVILLE (press release)—Sevierville’s Winterfest celebration will offer some new elements this year, including but not limited to:

Thomas Kinkade’s Christmas of Light at Smoky Mountain Palace Theater: This live music event features the artwork of Thomas Kinkade on massive screens, plus live music (both traditional Christmas songs and newly composed Christmas music). The show brings to life the beautiful masterpieces of the “Painter of Light.” It’s an event that will create a memorable Christmas experience. The show runs November 1–January 2.

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland at Smokies Stadium: This mega-light show is back with new elements, including a new half-mile long section of themed displays that tell your favorite fairy tales in vivid lights. It’s also the world’s largest drive-through, fully synchronized, LED Christmas light and music show of its kind. Also, experience the all-new 220 ft. long channel of lights that guests drive through with synchronized to music. This 1.5 mile drive through LED light experience features extras for the kids, such as a petting zoo, pony and camel ride, photos with Santa and more. The Shadrack Christmas Wonderland shows have received national media attention and won awards for their inventiveness and elaborate choreography. It runs November 6–January 3.

Tanger Outlets Sevierville: Tanger Outlets Sevierville will add more than 100,000 new lights to their holiday décor this year. Tanger features nearly 150 name brand outlet stores where shoppers can find everything from fine China, clothing, tools, furniture and specialty retail shops featuring items like fine art, antiques, collectibles and outdoor items.

Guests to the city should stop at the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center on Highway 66 or the chamber office on Gary Wade Blvd. for total Winterfest information.
