NASHVILLE (press release)—Deputy District Attorney William Brownlow Marsh was presented with the 2014 President’s Award, which is given each year to one Assistant District Attorney in the State of Tennessee.
The recipient of this award is decided by the Tennessee District Attorney General’s Conference in Nashville.
“This award is well deserved by Deputy District Attorney Marsh. He has served the people of Tennessee with integrity and distinction for many years. I cannot think of a more worthy recipient of the President’s Award,” said Executive Director Wally Kirby of the Tennessee District Attorney General’s Conference.
District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn said, “Deputy Marsh received this award based upon his leadership, integrity and dedication. I have known and worked with Deputy Marsh for many years and he is an asset to my office and the citizens of our district.”
Deputy Marsh is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the University of Tennessee College of Law. He has many years of experience as a State Prosecutor in various Districts throughout eastern Tennessee and served as a Federal Prosecutor with the Appalachia High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area or AHIDT A. He currently serves as Deputy District Attorney to District Attorney General James B. Dunn of the Fourth Judicial District, which is comprised of Sevier, Cocke, Jefferson, and Grainger counties.
