April 19, 1950 – December 17, 2015

Chief Ralph “Red” Huskey, age 65 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015. He was a founding member of the Caton’s Chapel / Richardson’s Cove Volunteer Fire Department and served for 23 years and served 6 of those years as fire chief until his illness in 2014. He also retired from the Sevier County Highway Department.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Rose Huskey, daughter-in-law, Wendy Clair Huskey, and parents Roy and Lydia Huskey.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday with a funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bradley Franklin and Rev. Timothy Deneve officiating. Interment 2 PM Sunday in Justus Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Lovett, Brent Morgan, Charles Powers, Rodger Ogle, David Puckett, and Dwight Wilson.
