Clarita Francis Riedel passed away Saturday November 14, 2015 at 7:28 AM Eastern Time. She went quietly, surrounded by family after a brief illness. Born to Richard and Hazel Henderson on Sunday January 1st 1933 in Zwolle Louisiana, Clarita is survived by her seven children: Robert (and wife Nancy), Richard, Randy (and wife Elena), Deborah Willumson (and husband Karl), Roger (and wife Pamela), Ralph Jr. and Elizabeth; fourteen grandchildren: Joseph, Tilda and Sean (by Robert and Nancy); Jessica, Alex, Sarah and Matthew (by Richard); Hannalore and Glynnis Willumsun (by Karl and Deborah); Andrew and Aaron (by Roger and Pamela); Ruthleen and Ralph (by Ralph Jr.); and Natalia (by Randy and Elena); and two great-grandchildren: Daniel and Julianna (children of Joseph and his wife Christine); her sisters Linda Lawson and Barbara Terzian. Clarita was predeceased by her mother and father, former husband Ralph H, sister Susanne Clark and brother Richard Henderson.

The family offers special thanks to Dr. William Patterson, Tirree Patterson, Sheryl Hill and the staff at LeConte Cardiology, Dr. Jeffrey King and LeConte Surgical Staff, Dr. Cara Connor UT Family Practice, the staff of LeConte Medical Center, Amedysis Home Health and Hospice staff – especially Chaplain Clay and Patty Snow for their overwhelming kindness and compassion. Also thanks to special friends Jeffrey and Beverly Murrell. Finally, thanks to Wilbur Marshall who meant so much to Rita, undying gratitude to DeAnna Fagiana who gave so much of herself, and to Hebe Amescua who was always there when Rita needed her.

Clarita loved animals and especially her two cats Cloephus and Patrick who brought much joy to her life. With that in mind, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Sevier County Humane Society or to Pets Without Parents.
