Tennessee waterfalls are highlighted

ball head fallsETOWAH (press release)—The Tennessee Overhill Heritage Association (TOHA) has released its new Waterfall Brochure.

The Tennessee Overhill area is home to more than 60 waterfalls and the new brochure features more than 20 of them. Directions are provided to each of the waterfalls, its height and degree of difficulty for the hike. It also gives useful trail, waterfall and wildlife safety tips for visitors.

“When I mention waterfalls or people see in our presentations, literature or trade show displays, it generates much excitement and discussion,” said Gerald D. Hodge Jr., TOHA Executive Director Gerald D. Hodge Jr. “Until now all we have had is directions to a small number. Now we have something for folks to visualize what we have to offer and to go see the beauty of the waterfalls in motions and not just look at a static picture.”

TOHA expresses appreciation to the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development for its financial support and the U.S. Forest Service for its input and feedback.

For a brochure and more information, contact the TOHA office at 423-263-7232 or info@tennesseeoverhill.com.
